NOTICE TO ALL AIR CARRIERS SERVING
SPOKANE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

RE: Notice of "Type A" Amendment to PFC Application # 4 for GEG

The Spokane Airport Authority (Authority) hereby provides notice, in accordance with 14 CFR 158.37 (a) of the Passenger Facility Charge Regulation ("PFC Regulation"), of a "Type A" amendment to PFC # 04-04-C-00-GEG.

The Authority received approval from the FAA to "impose and use" PFCs for eight projects at Spokane International Airport on July 9, 2004. This #04-04-C-00-GEG application is now complete and prior to closeout of the application, it needs to be amended to increase the total collection amount from $4,461,711 to $4,680,431. All projects in this application are now complete and we have final actual expenditures. Project #7 Terminal Capacity Improvements was approved for $1,005,000 in 2004 to provide the local match for AIP grants. The project came in over the engineer's estimate due to an increase in the cost of steel, labor and unforeseen conditions. This resulted in an increase in the local match of $242,522. Additionally, Project #4 Terminal Modifications for Security Improvements was approved for $1,058,333 in 2004. The project is now complete and the actual cost is $1,034,531. This results in a savings of $23,802 from the original budget.

These changes result in a revised collection amount needed of $4,680,431. The actual amount of collections for this application was $4,680,431. This amount was fully collected on December 1, 2005 and projects were also physically completed on December 1, 2005. The Authority plans to close this completed PFC application in August 1, 2006.
