Notice to Air Carriers serving Spokane International Airport
Proposed Amendment to approved PFC Application #05-05-C-00-GEG
Spokane
Airport Authority received approval from the FAA to "impose
and use" PFCs for four projects at Spokane International
Airport on August 30, 2005. This #05-05-C-00-GEG Application
is the subject of this notice of proposed amendment.
Spokane
Airport Authority is proposing to increase the total amount
of PFC's to be collected on these projects from the original
budget amount of $9,577,800 to $13,827,800. The projects in
this application have now all been bid we have updated project
costs. Attached is a revised PFC project Spreadsheet titled
"PFC Amendment Funding Summary Table" with updated
project costs and funding sources.
This
proposed change results in a revised estimated expiration
date of December 1, 2007 due to the revised collection amount
needed of $4,250,000 and the actual PFC revenue collected
to date.
In
accordance with Federal Aviation Regulation 49 CFR Part 158.37
Passenger Facility Charges, Spokane Airport Authority will
hold a consultation meeting with air carriers on Tuesday,
May 23, 2006 at 1:00 pm local time, regarding this proposed
amendment. The meeting will be held in the Airport Board Room
located in the Administrative Offices on the second floor
of the terminal building at the Airport.
Spokane
International Airport plans to submit a proposal to amend
GEG PFC#5 as described above to the FAA for review and approval
on June 28, 2006. We solicit your certifications of agreement
or disagreement with the proposed change prior to the submission
of the amendment to the FAA. We propose this amendment to
be effective on August 1, 2006.
